Grandparents Day
Grandparents Day celebration is usually held in September. This is when the grandparents or a special adult in the child's life are honored and are invited to the center for cookies, coffee, and a gift made by their grandchildren.
Students pictured here are making very special gifs for their grandparents.

EASTER HOLIDAY
Celebrating Easter and all things Spring with our fun traditions and activities. We are so excited to welcome our parents into our Center, hunt for eggs, and share our treats inside with classmates.
Mothers and Fathers day breakfasts
Mother’s Day breakfast is a special morning when we honor our mothers, or anyone fulfilling a motherly role, with a nice sit-down breakfast. Mothers get to spend this time with their child or children before heading off to work that day!
Father’s Day breakfast in one word: donuts. We invite the fathers or anyone fulfilling a fatherly role, in for breakfast donuts with their child on the Friday before Father’s Day.
4th of july parade
This is a very special event at Wenzler Preschool & Learning Center. All of the children make floats, decorate bikes and wagons, and make colorful costumes to create a neighborhood parade that takes place in the area behind the Wenzler Daycare.
After the parade, everyone is invited back to Irelan Park for a big cookout! We also collect canned goods at the cookout from all of the neighbors and parents to give to a local food pantry.
Family Fall fun!
All children and families enrolled at Wenzler Preschool & Learning Center are invited to our Family FUN Fall Festival! It takes place in the early fall and it's a great opportunity to meet your children's friends and their families.
There are games and prizes for the kids and the adults. Feel free to dress up in your Halloween Costumes and come out to celebrate changing colors and crisp air with us at the Fall Festival.
We also collect canned goods to donate to the Kettering Assembly of God Food Pantry.
Thanksgiving Luncheon
During the week of Thanksgiving, our tradition is to provide a special Thanksgiving lunch to share with your Wenzler family. The children make placemats and we all have a nice Thanksgiving lunch that YOU do not have to cook! Enjoy the delicious, traditional Thanksgiving foods and help celebrate our thankfulness to have your family as part of ours.
Operation Christmas Child
The Samaritan's Purse project Operation Christmas Child collects shoebox gifts that are filled with fun toys, school supplies, and hygiene items—and delivers them to children in need around the world.
Santa Claus is Coming!
Every year, although he is extremely busy, Santa Claus stops by the daycare for special requests and photos. Make sure your kiddos bring their wishlists! Parents are more than welcome to attend and take photos!
This time of year, we also host a holiday party for our staff and a day of training to keep their skills current. Thanks for your flexibility with our schedule during these important events!
